HA-580LFG is a high concentrated food-grade alpha-amylase produced from Bacillus licheniformis through submerged fermentation and refining extraction processes. It can be used for the liquefaction of starch materials in the alcohol production.
Benefits for the alcohol proudctiond:
Quick viscosity reduction, allowing for leffective iquefaction of higher concentration of solids
Lower viscosities improve heat exchanger efficiency
Improved performance at low slurry temperatures
Enables cost-effective liquefaction
Stabilized products maintain constant activity during storage
High concentration helps to reduce stockpile, handling, and shipping costs
Effect of pH
HA-580LFG can work at pH from 4.8 to 6.5, with its optimal pH range from 5.0 to 5.9.
The exact pH optimum depends on the actual processing conditions, including temperature, substrate concentration and processing time.
Effect of temperature
For interval liquefaction, HA-580LFG works at temperatures from 80 to 100°C with its optimum temperature range from 83 to 86°C. HA-580LFG can liquefy starch substrates promptly at 90 to 95ºC and remain highly active at 100ºC. For consecutive liquefaction, HA-580LFG demonstrates its exceptional thermo-stability at a temperature range of 105 to 110ºC and keeps on liquefying efficiently for 5 to 7 minutes.
Packaging, Storage & Shelf-life
-
25kg, 30kg food-grade HDPE plastic drums or 1125kg IBC totes. Customized packaging is available upon request.
-
Typical shelf-life is 18 months if it is stored below 25°C in its original packaging, sealed and unopened, protected from direct sunlight.
-
This enzyme has been formulated for optimal stability. Prolonged storage and/or adverse conditions such as higher temperatures may lead to a higher dosage requirement; therefore should be avoided.
Safe Handling of Enzymes
Inhalation of enzyme dust and mists should be avoided. In case of contact with skin or eyes, promptly rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. For detailed handling information, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
